Team Russell is made up of a group of talented people from around the world who all share one thing in common, the drive, self-belief and passion to achieve their goals and dreams.

‘The BeatThiefs’ have been a solid name within dance music over recent years; Productions have been tried and tested amongst the industries biggest acts, from David Guetta to Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez to Chocolate Puma. Whilst also performing for some of the UKs' biggest brands, including Pukka Up and Hat Club.

Currently ‘The BeatThiefs’ radio show ‘Be Yourself with The BeatThiefs’ can be heard not only online, on FM and DAB, but on board the in-flight entertainment systems of British Airways, Emirates and Qatar Airways.


Musician / Band

Jordan Crane (born 3 June 1986 in Bromsgrove) is a professional Rugby Union player, who currently plays for Leicester Tigers having moved from Yorkshire Carnegie at the end of the 2005–06 season. Crane has also played internationally for England.

Crane is renowned for his impressive physique and powerful runs from the base of the scrum. He consistently ranks as one of the most frequent carriers of the ball in English club rugby. He switched to playing rugby union relatively late after playing football for a number of professional clubs' junior sides.

Lamin Deen (born 17 June 1981) is a British bobsleigh pilot and Grenadier Guardsman. He qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympics in both the 2-man (in which he raced with John Baines) and 4-man disciplines.

Deen enjoyed a strong start to the 2014-15 season, scoring a third and a first place in the opening two four man races in the Americas Cup at the Park City track and winning another race at the following meeting at the Calgary track. At the 2015 FIBT World Championships, Deen led crews to fifth place in the four-man event, 14th in the two-man event and eighth along with the rest of the British squad in the team event.


Bobsleigh Pilot

James Downey (born 23 March 1981) is an Irish rugby union player for Wasps in the Aviva Premiership and European Rugby Challenge Cup. He plays as a Centre.

He made his debut for his home province Leinster in 2003 and since then played in Connacht, Munster, Calvisano, Northampton and Glasgow.

Downey's form for Northampton saw him earn a place in the Ireland A team for the 2009 Churchill Cup. He was added to the senior Ireland squad to tour North America on 2 June 2013 and made his senior debut for Ireland on 15 June 2013, starting against Canada.

Mark Anthony Lewis-Francis (born 4 September 1982) is a British track and field athlete, specifically a sprinter, who specialises in the 100 metres. A renowned junior, his greatest sporting achievement at senior level has been to anchor the Great Britain and Northern Ireland 4 x 100 metres relay team to a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Individually, Lewis-Francis has won the silver medal in the 100 m at the 2010 European Athletics Championships, and numerous indoor medals.

Brett Ferres (born 17 April 1986 in Castleford, England) is a professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for Leeds of Super League. An England national representative second-row forward, he previously played for Huddersfield Bradford, Wakefield Trinity and Castleford.

Joanna Koliakoudaki is a professional yoga and pilates instructor from Greece.

The Athens based instructor was a competitive rhythmic gymnast from 1987-1991 and has worked as a fitness professional since 2000. As Russell Athletic Ambassador Joanna will reflect a lifestyle and philosophy of womens wellbeing and fitness.

Shaun Lunt (born 15 April 1987) is an English professional rugby league footballer for Hull KR of Super League.

Lunt is known for his great speed out of dummy-half and accurate distribution, along with his sharp eye for the try-line, which has led to many tries from dummy half in his career. He played in Huddersfield's 2009 Challenge Cup Final loss, scoring a try and having one disallowed in the process. In 2012 he joined Leeds Rhinos on a one year loan and won the 2012 Super League Grand Final.

Ion is champion at racing 400 meters with hurdle. Ion is a master trainer of Lebert fitness,Yoga Teacher assistant yoga at base training academy and Co-founder of Glyfada’s training group. He has attended multi-style-yoga teacher training 200h Yoga Alliance. Ion also delivers seminars in Greece & abroad.

Ali Maqseed is a Kuwaiti football midfielder. He plays Left back or left wing with many other Positions for Al Arabi SC in VIVA Premier League and the Kuwait national football team. Maqseed is well known for his Talented Dribbling and speed, due to that he is nicknamed "Al-Janah Al-Ta'ier" (The Flyinf Wing). Ali Himself has rejected all offers from other clubs around the world staying loyal for his club.

On October 29, 2015 Nominated for UAFA Arabian Footballer of the Year 2015 with Mohamed Salah and Asian Player of the Year 2015.

Warrington born winger (born 22 February 1988) with a fine strike rate at Super League level, Riley was primarily a fullback with England Academy and the Warrington junior grades, but he has forged his first team career to date on the wing.

A well balanced and elusive runner who has added some strength to his build since debuting in late 2005 at the age of 17.

Ingi Freyr Sveinbjörnsson, Iceland - Top freestyle snowskater in 2015, developer of the following tricks on the snowskates: 540, 720, frontflip, play dead, twisted donut. Currently he has the fastest measured speed on the snowskates with 113 km/h.

Ingi's favorite trick: Front flip and 720° (those are my two biggest tricks and I just love landing them and the front flip has become a little bit of my trademark).



Sailosi Tagicakibau (born 14 November 1982 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a rugby union footballer who plays at wing for Wasps in the Aviva Premiership.
He spent the majority of his career with English Premiership side London Irish, making in excess of 150 appearances. He played international rugby for Samoa, achieving 21 caps. By contrast, his brother, Scarlets player Michael, has played for Fiji.

Ethan Charles A. Waller is an English rugby union prop who plays for Northampton Saints. He made his debut in November 2012 against Harlequins and is the younger brother of fellow Saints prop Alex. He has previously spent time at Coventry and Moseley on dual registration agreements.

Stevie Ward (born 17 November 1993) is an English professional rugby league footballer for Super League club Leeds Rhinos. He primarily plays at loose forward.

In 2010 he had an impressive season with the Rhinos U18's team delivering some great performances, he made the step up into the U20's the following season whilst also having the opportunity to train with the first team. He played in the friendly against Featherstone Rovers in 2011 and his performances for the U20's earned him a place in the Rhinos first team squad in 2012.
